The National Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team and developing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the freight forwarding market and experience in managing sales teams.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share
Lead, motivate and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key accounts
Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and customer service teams
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales plans
Conduct sales meetings and trainings to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve sales targets
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Director of Sales
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales in the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry
Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts
Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software
